Frequently Asked Questions
What material should I choose?
Aluminum is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.
304 Stainless Steel offers greater strength and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for industrial environments, manufacturing facilities, utilities, and long-term identification.
Brushed 304 Stainless Steel provides the same durability as standard stainless steel with a premium brushed finish for a more refined appearance.
Can I customize all three lines of text?
Yes. All three lines can be customized with your own text, numbers, company name, equipment information, or identification details.
Can I upload my company logo?
Yes. Most vector logos can be laser engraved onto your tag. If you're unsure whether your logo is suitable, send it to us and we'll review it before production.
Can I choose different fonts?
Yes. Select from our available fonts in the product customizer. If you're looking for something specific, let us know in the Notes, Comments & Requests box and we'll review your request.
Can I request larger text or a different layout?
Absolutely. Use the Notes, Comments & Requests box to tell us how you'd like your tag to look. We can often accommodate requests such as:
Larger text
Text alignment
Removing separator lines
Different text spacing
Font preferences
Can I choose different hole configurations?
Yes. Multiple mounting hole options are available depending on how your tag will be installed.
Are these tags suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Aluminum and stainless steel are both corrosion resistant and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Will the engraving wear off?
No. Our tags are permanently laser engraved directly into the metal and will not peel or fade like printed labels.
How long does production take?
Most individual custom metal tag orders ship within 1–2 business days. Larger or more complex orders may require additional production time.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes. Automatic discounts are available when ordering multiple identical tags.
If you need 25 or more matching tags or sequentially numbered tags, visit our Bulk Metal Tags section for project pricing and simplified ordering.
