We wanted a better blank. So we built the capability to make it.

We started by manufacturing stencils and engraving metal tags. As our tag work grew, we became frustrated with the condition of the purchased blanks we received: scratches, bends and curved surfaces that made a professional finished product harder to achieve.

Many of those blanks came through overseas supply chains and mass-production stamping processes. They did not consistently meet the standards we wanted for our customers.

Rather than keep working around those problems, we invested in the machinery to manufacture our own tags and plates from sheet stock, to our own strict requirements. Quality became something we could manage from the beginning.

Quick turnaround comes from controlling the work.

When we can take an order from sheet stock to finished engraved tags ourselves, we can schedule the work directly instead of waiting for a supplier to manufacture the blanks.

That is how we support quick turnaround while keeping close control over the finish of every product. We can also adapt to custom sizes, hole patterns and quantities without handing the core manufacturing process to someone else.

Production timing depends on quantity, material, design and finishing requirements. Product listings show standard lead times; we confirm timing for custom projects and specialty finishes when quoting.
