A food manufacturing facility recently contacted us for a set of large-format warehouse and production floor stencils to help improve organization and identification throughout their operation.

For this project, we produced 13 custom stencils using durable 10 mil Mylar. Each stencil measured 24" x 36", our largest standard stencil size, and featured custom text tailored to the customer's specific application. Because the markings were intended for different locations and uses throughout the facility, we adjusted the text sizing on each stencil to provide the best balance of visibility and layout.

The order was placed Tuesday afternoon and shipped Wednesday morning, allowing the customer to quickly move forward with their facility labeling project.

10 mil Mylar is a popular choice for industrial stencil applications because it is flexible, reusable, moisture resistant, and durable enough for repeated use with paint, marking systems, and warehouse identification projects. Large-format stencils like these are commonly used for pallet locations, material handling areas, rework carts, reject bins, inspection zones, storage locations, and production workflow markings.

To help protect the finished stencils during transit, we package large stencil orders flat and place a layer of paper between each stencil. This prevents the cut lettering and bridges from catching on neighboring stencils during packaging, shipping, and unpacking, helping ensure the stencils arrive ready for use.
