Permanent Metal Tags for Fiber & Telecom Infrastructure

Engraved aluminum and stainless steel identification for fiber routes, backbone and lateral cables, conduit, cabinets, handholes, vaults and network assets. Built for systems expected to remain in service long after an adhesive label would be gone.

Have a spreadsheet, route schedule, drawing or customer naming standard? Attach it to the RFQ. We can quote matching, sequential and fully variable tag sets.

Quote the complete identification package

Send the schedule instead of entering every tag individually.

Fiber and telecom work rarely stops at one repeated label. A project may combine backbone names, lateral routes, sequence numbers, endpoint locations, directional text, ownership information and QR codes. We manufacture from customer-supplied spreadsheets, drawings, PDFs and numbering conventions.

01 • Send

Your project data

Upload a spreadsheet, schedule, drawing, tag specification or sample layout with your RFQ.

02 • Review

Material and mounting

We match the size, metal, engraving and slot pattern to cable, conduit, pipe or equipment.

03 • Produce

Organized tag sets

Matching, sequential or fully variable tags are produced around the installation schedule.

Example telecom identification

Built for routes, locations and customer-defined naming systems.

Engraved CENTRAL OFFICE four-slot metal telecom identification tag
Location and facility identification with two-point zip-tie mounting.
Variable engraved telecom route tag with sequence number and north south direction
Variable route records can include owner, sequence, footage, direction and endpoints.
Engraved BACKBONE LATERAL four-slot metal telecom tag
Clear backbone, lateral, feeder and distribution route identification.
Stack of engraved QR asset identification tags with four zip-tie mounting slots
Customer-supplied QR or Data Matrix codes for asset records and documentation.
Mount directly to the infrastructure

Choose a slot pattern that fits the installation.

Zip-tie and banding-mounted tags avoid drilling and do not depend on adhesive. Custom Cutouts cuts the blanks in-house, allowing standard or project-specific sizes and mounting patterns.

Two blank notched metal tags for zip-tie mounting to cable pipe and conduit

Notched end saddles

Zip ties seat into the notches to help center the plate on cable bundles, conduit and pipe. Available in compact and larger-format tag sizes.

Blank metal cable pipe and conduit tags with multiple zip-tie slot patterns

Four-slot and custom patterns

Two zip ties hold the tag securely against larger cable groups, conduit and piping. Slot direction, spacing and overall dimensions can be built around a project.

Direct-order options

Already know the tag style and quantity?

Use these listings when the project fits a standard size. For mixed tag sizes, custom slots, fully variable schedules, logos or larger quantities, the RFQ path will be faster and clearer.

Common project data

One tag can carry the information your field team actually needs.

  • Backbone, lateral, feeder and distribution identification
  • Origin, destination and endpoint information
  • North, south, east and west route direction
  • Sequence numbers and customer naming conventions
  • Handhole, vault, cabinet and enclosure IDs
  • Server room and structured cabling labels
  • Footage, GPS coordinates and location references
  • Company logos, ownership text and contact information
  • Customer-supplied QR codes and Data Matrix codes

Frequently asked questions

Can every tag contain different information?

Yes. Variable-data production can be driven from a spreadsheet containing route names, locations, sequence numbers, endpoints, directions, QR codes or other changing fields.

Can you follow our existing telecom naming convention?

Yes. Send the naming standard, examples or tag schedule with the RFQ. We manufacture to customer-defined identification systems; final standards compliance remains dependent on the customer's design and implementation.

Should we order aluminum or stainless steel?

Aluminum is an economical choice for many indoor and protected applications. Stainless steel is preferred for outdoor, underground, humid, washdown or mechanically demanding locations.

Can you make a custom size or slot pattern?

Yes. The blanks are cut in-house, so custom dimensions and mounting patterns are practical for project quantities. Send the cable, conduit or pipe mounting requirements with the RFQ.

Can you engrave customer-supplied QR or Data Matrix codes?

Yes. Code size and density affect the minimum practical tag size. Submit the code files or spreadsheet so we can confirm scanability before production.

Fiber and telecom project quotes

Send the route schedule, drawings or tag specification.

Include quantities, preferred material, approximate size, mounting method and any changing data fields. We can quote a small replacement run or a coordinated project with thousands of unique tags.
