When to choose aluminum tags

Choose aluminum when low weight, economical bulk pricing and general corrosion resistance are the main priorities. Aluminum works well for property identification, tool tracking, indoor machinery, cabinets, bins and many general outdoor assets.

When to choose stainless steel tags

Choose stainless steel when rigidity, abrasion resistance and performance in wet or industrial environments matter more than minimum weight. Stainless is commonly selected for machinery, utilities, wastewater facilities, manufacturing equipment and outdoor installations.

What is brushed stainless steel?

Brushed stainless provides a directional, more uniform face. It is primarily an appearance upgrade; the correct alloy, thickness and engraving method still determine suitability for the application.

When should 316 stainless or heavier material be quoted?

Marine exposure, chlorides, chemical environments, welding requirements and unusually heavy mechanical use may justify 316 stainless or increased thickness. These projects should be reviewed rather than selected from a universal rule.

Choose size after choosing the information
