Full-scale and multipart metal stencil systems fabricated from current customer-approved traffic-control drawings for public roads and roadways open to public travel.
Built from the project requirement—not a generic template
Roadway pavement words, arrows and symbols are highly standardized. The opportunity is not to invent a close-looking arrow or generic STOP stencil; it is to fabricate a durable production tool from the current design detail selected by the engineer, agency or contractor. The current federal manual is the MUTCD 11th Edition with Revision 1 dated December 2025.
Our role: Custom Cutouts fabricates a reusable stencil from customer-supplied wording, dimensions, artwork or an approved drawing. We do not approve the marking or determine which rule applies. The purchaser and applicable authority remain responsible for the finished marking, materials, colors, location, application and maintenance.

Stencil construction options
Aluminum can reduce weight for large panels; stainless adds durability but can become heavy at roadway scale. Thickness, bridge strength, panel division and alignment must be engineered around the marking size and contractor handling method.

Existing listings are useful when their sheet sizes fit the job. Large, repeated, multipart or specification-controlled markings should come through the RFQ path.
Questions before ordering
Do you certify a stencil as MUTCD compliant?
No. We manufacture from the customer’s approved current detail. The agency or project professional determines the applicable design and accepts the finished marking.
Can a large arrow be divided into panels?
Yes. We can add panel numbers, reference edges and alignment features while preserving the supplied geometry.
Why not use a standard online arrow file?
Similar-looking arrows can have different geometry or revisions. Project-controlled artwork is the safer production source.
