Ways to supply production data
A simple serial range works when one field changes consecutively. A spreadsheet is better when model, date, customer, location or configuration fields vary. Drawings or PDFs help define exact dimensions, hole locations and field hierarchy.

The amount of information, character height and mounting holes determine the practical plate size. Send the full layout before choosing the smallest possible tag.
