Our standard bulk listings are optimized for repeat production and are usually the lowest-cost path for common sizes.
Materials & applications
Choose aluminum for economical permanent identification, 304 stainless for corrosion resistance and harsh environments, or brushed 304 stainless when appearance matters as much as durability. The instant designer is intended for our common thin-gauge engraved tag materials up to 8" × 8". For 1/16" or 1/8" stainless, 316 stainless, steel, cut-through text, unusual shapes or more complex industrial plates, use our Request a Quote page.
Frequently asked questions
Can every tag have different text?
Yes. Choose Variable Data. Larger projects can be produced from an Excel spreadsheet with unique text, serial numbers, equipment IDs, QR codes or other data.
Can I order sequential numbers?
Yes. Choose Sequential and include the starting and ending number or numbering format in the notes.
Can you engrave QR codes, Data Matrix codes and barcodes?
Yes. Add the request in the project notes. Code size and density can affect the minimum practical tag size.
Can I add a logo?
Yes. Most vector artwork and high-quality logo files can be engraved. We will review the artwork before production.
Why can a standard bulk listing cost less than the designer?
Standard sizes are optimized for repeat production. Custom sizes add setup and nesting variability, so the designer includes a small custom-size premium.
