Commercial Pool Depth Marker & No-Diving Stencils

Project-specific stencil sets for repeated pool depth numbers, units, NO DIVING messages and customer-approved deck or vertical-surface markings.

Built from the project requirement—not a generic template

Commercial pool rules differ by state and local jurisdiction. They can control marker locations, spacing, units, character size, contrast, slip resistance and whether painted markings are acceptable. The CDC Model Aquatic Health Code is guidance used by jurisdictions—not a universal federal pool law—so every order should start with the approved plan or local inspector’s detail.

Our role: Custom Cutouts fabricates a reusable stencil from customer-supplied wording, dimensions, artwork or an approved drawing. We do not approve the marking or determine which rule applies. The purchaser and applicable authority remain responsible for the finished marking, materials, colors, location, application and maintenance.

Stencil construction options

Complete depth sequencesCoordinated numeral, decimal, FT, IN and metric layouts.
No-diving warningsWording and symbol layouts based on the approved local detail.
Facility stencil kitsMultiple duplicate sets for pools, spas, decks and maintenance crews.

Flexible Mylar often conforms well to pool curbs and vertical surfaces. Metal may suit repeated flat-deck work, but the operator must confirm the coating system, surface preparation, contrast and slip-resistance treatment.

Send the specification and let us lay it out

Send the plan page or inspector-approved detail, plus the complete depth schedule. We can organize the sequence into a labeled kit and quote duplicate layouts for multi-pool properties or contractors.

Existing listings are useful when their sheet sizes fit the job. Large, repeated, multipart or specification-controlled markings should come through the RFQ path.

Questions before ordering

Is the CDC Model Aquatic Health Code the law?

No. It is guidance that jurisdictions can use when developing codes. The adopted state or local requirement controls your facility.

Can you make a full sequence instead of separate orders?

Yes. Complete pool or multi-property kits are the preferred commercial use for this page.

Will paint always be accepted?

Not necessarily. Some projects may require tile, permanent markers or specific coatings. Confirm the approved method before ordering a stencil.

Planning reference: CDC 2024 Model Aquatic Health Code information. Always confirm the current adopted regulation, permit, authority requirement and project revision before production.
