Selecting a size
The 1.5 × 3-inch format is the best starting point when a tag needs multiple lines or highly visible asset numbers. The 1 × 3-inch size fits narrower equipment surfaces. The ⅝ × 2⅞-inch format is suited to compact, usually single-line identifiers. Character count, logo detail and mounting holes can require a larger custom plate.
