From Photo to Finished Product: 50 Custom-Cut Brass Logo Tags in 4 Business Days

A customer reached out to Custom Cutouts needing 50 custom-engraved 1" square metal tags featuring their company logo. After discussing material options, they selected 0.060" thick brass for its premium appearance and distinctive gold finish.

The Challenge

The customer had a photo of the logo they wanted engraved, but they did not have a production-ready digital artwork file. Rather than requiring the customer to locate the original artwork or hire a designer, we recreated the design from their uploaded photo and converted it into clean digital artwork suitable for precision laser engraving.

Custom Manufacturing From Sheet Stock

Instead of starting with generic pre-made blanks, we manufactured the tags specifically for this project. All 50 pieces were cut from 0.060" brass sheet to approximately 1" × 1" with rounded corners, giving us control over the material, dimensions, edge quality, engraving, and final finish.

Ready for Installation

To help protect the finished brass surface during handling and installation, we applied removable protective film to the face of each tag. We also applied double-sided adhesive to the back of every piece, so the tags arrived ready to install without drilling holes or sourcing separate mounting hardware.

From receiving the customer's photo to creating the artwork, cutting the brass, engraving all 50 pieces, applying protective film and adhesive, packaging, and shipment, the complete project was finished in four business days.
